Adventure Elopement Experiences

Deeply personal outdoor wedding days for couples who want nature, meaning, and room to explore

It might be a sunrise hike, a quiet waterfall, a picnic in the woods, private vows in the mountains, or a small outdoor ceremony with loved ones later in the day.

Your adventure does not have to look like anyone else’s.

We help you design an experience that feels peaceful, personal, and fully your own.

  • You want your wedding day to feel personal, peaceful, and rooted in nature.

  • You’re drawn to beautiful outdoor places and enjoying your version of adventure.

  • You want space for vows, portraits, exploring, and meaningful time together.

  • You may be eloping just the two of you, or bringing a small group of loved ones.

  • You want guidance designing the experience, choosing locations, shaping the timeline, and making the day actually work so you can be free to enjoy it.

This might be the right fit for you if:

Before we talk locations, we help you clarify what kind of experience you actually want — peaceful, adventurous, private, family-centered, sacred, playful, or somewhere in between.

Vision & Experience design

We guide the practical pieces while protecting the peaceful, meaningful atmosphere you’re hoping for — so you can stay present instead of managing the day.

Calm support

Your adventure can be as simple or involved as you want — from scenic overlooks and short trails to full mountain, waterfall, or multi-location experiences.

Adventure style

We design a day with breathing room, so it feels like an experience you get to live — not a rushed list of photo locations or wedding-day tasks.

Timeline rhythm

We help choose outdoor locations that fit your vision, comfort level, your needs, any guest needs, season, light, access, and logistics — so the places support the experience instead of complicating it.

How We Guide You

You don’t need to solve everything before you come to us.

We guide you through the location, timeline, flow, and logistics — starting with how you want the day to feel.

Real Adventure Elopement Stories

Adventure looks different for every couple.

Mary & Brian

Sunrise Elopement & Waterfall Adventure in Asheville

Camille & Arthur

Private Vows & Intimate Wedding in Shenandoah National Park

These stories show two ways an adventure elopement can become fully your own.

  • Sometimes it’s just the two of you in the mountains.
  • Or a private adventure first, followed by gathering with loved ones later.

Mary and Brian’s day was a true just-us adventure: sunrise vows on a mountaintop, a waterfall hike, and a quiet picnic in the woods.

Their story shows how peaceful and meaningful a private outdoor elopement can feel when the day is built around presence, nature, and time together.

Just-us Adventure

Adventure with Guests

Camille and Arthur’s day blended adventure with loved ones present: a sunrise hike, private vows in the mountains, an outdoor ceremony with guests, brunch, and an evening around the fire.

Their story shows how private adventure and guest connection can belong in the same wedding experience.

Mary & Brian — Sunrise elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains

“We honestly felt like we were spending the day with old friends.

Mark and Carolyn didn’t just document our elopement — they brought an incredible warmth and joy that made our day truly unforgettable.

We felt completely cared for and completely at peace.”

Adventure Elopement FAQs

Do we have to hike?
No. Adventure means something different for every couple. Some couples hike several miles, while others prefer short walks, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, or easily accessible outdoor spaces.

Can we bring guests?
Yes. These experiences are typically designed for just the two of you or small gatherings up to around 20 guests.

Can we have private vows and a guest ceremony?
Absolutely. Many couples choose to create private time together first, then gather with loved ones later for a ceremony or celebration.

What if we don’t know where to go yet?
That’s normal. You don’t need to choose the location first. We help you find the right place after we understand how you want the experience to feel.

What if we want something adventurous but not extreme?
That’s exactly the kind of experience we often create. Adventure might mean a sunrise overlook, a waterfall, a scenic drive, a short trail, or simply spending meaningful time outside together.
